HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF
Stand with your arms by your sides and ask someone to wrap a tape measure below your bust. Ensure the tape is just below your breasts, straight across your back and is pulled as tight against the skin as possible. As this is how the underband of the bra will fit, the tape should be tight enough to feel secure but not so tight that it becomes uncomfortable. The resulting measurement equals your UNDERBUST.
Wrap a tape measure around the fullest part of your bust (generally just above the nipple). Pull the tape measure tight until it’s gently pressed against your skin but not so tight that it feels restricting. Ensure the tape measure sits straight across your back, ideally parallel to the floor. The resulting measurement equals your OVERBUST.
GOOD FIT VS BAD FITS
CUPS TOO BIGBra cups that are too big will leave space across the top of the cups and at the root below the breasts.
PERFECT FITBra cups that fit well will wrap around the contour of your bust with each breast resting within the cups comfortably.
STRAPS TOO TIGHTBra straps that are too tight will dig into the skin around the shoulders and pull the bra band in an upwards direction.
BRA TOO TIGHTBra’s that are too tight will dig into the skin around the back causing overflow at the sides of the front and back of the bra.
PERFECT FITBra straps that fit well should sit parallel against the back whereas bands should wrap around without digging into the skin or causing overflow.
CUP OVERFLOWBra cups that are too small will dig into the skin and have flesh spilling out over the top and sides of the cups.
PERFECT FITBra cups that fit well will wrap around the contour of each breast without digging into the tissue or overflowing at the top and sides.
